Automotive radar has become a key sensor for intelligent driving systems. From precisely maintaining vehicle distance in adaptive cruise control to timely avoiding collision risks in collision warning systems, and further providing safety assurance for lane changes in blind spot monitoring, automotive radar ensures driving safety and drives the advancement of intelligent driving.
The automotive radar tester can simulate complex and diverse real-world road scenarios, comprehensively and accurately evaluating key performance metrics such as target detection capability, distance measurement precision, and speed recognition accuracy under various environmental conditions. This requires a high-performance analog-to-digital converter (ADC) device. The dual-channel 12-bit 3.2GSPS high-speed ADC, GX12DL3200, features two built-in ADCs and supports single-channel mode, achieving a maximum sampling rate of 5GSPS in this mode, fully meeting the application requirements of automotive radar testers.

The GX12DL3200 employs a parallel LVDS interface for data output, with a minimum conversion delay of 10ns. The data interface supports Demux mode, utilizing up to 48 pairs of LVDS buses for parallel data output. The LVDS bus data rate reaches 1.6Gbps, and the data output format can be programmable in both shifted binary code and two‘s complement formats, offering users flexible options for application.
