GXSC passive dual balanced broadband mixer chip replaces LTC5548/5549 for application in vehicle mounted LiDAR

Time:2026-01-05 Views:39
Vehicle mounted LiDAR refers to a vehicle mounted sensor that emits a laser beam to perceive the vehicle‘s speed, surrounding environment, and position. The vehicle mounted laser radar needs to have the advantages of high detection accuracy, strong anti active jamming ability, wide scanning range, lightweight, etc., and will have broad application prospects in the field of autonomous vehicle in the future.
Vehicle mounted LiDAR requires not only high resolution and detection range, but also fast response and real-time processing of large amounts of signal data in high-speed dynamic environments. The broadband mixer is responsible for completing the up conversion (transmitter) and down conversion (receiver) of the signal, ensuring the quality of signal transmission. The GXSC passive dual balanced broadband mixer has broadband coverage and flexible frequency conversion, which is suitable for the needs of multi band LiDAR and meets the mainstream C-band, X-band, and Ku band signal processing requirements of vehicle mounted LiDAR.
In the car environment, there are complex electromagnetic noises such as engine electromagnetic radiation and interference from car communication equipment, which can easily cause distortion of laser radar signals and affect detection accuracy. The GXSC passive double balanced broadband mixer chip has excellent linear performance and outstanding performance characteristics compared to the LTC5548/5549 inlet model. It can be used for up conversion or down conversion, with ultra wide frequency coverage of 2GHz~15GHz, meeting the full frequency detection requirements of car laser radar systems. The chip has differential IF output and supports IF bandwidth of DC~6GHz.
This GXSC mixer chip can be used for up conversion or down conversion. The chip has differential IF output and supports DC~6GHz IF bandwidth. It is not only suitable for applications where the IF frequency extends below 500MHz, but also for applications where the IF frequency is above 500MHz. The chip integrates on-chip balun, making it more convenient to use. It can support broadband operating frequencies ranging from 2 to 15GHz, with an integrated LO amplification link. It supports local oscillator operating frequencies ranging from 1 to 12GHz, with a typical local oscillator power of only 0dBm.
In addition, the GXSC mixer chip integrates an LO multiplier, which can be enabled or disabled through ports compatible with CMOS logic. Enabling the LO multiplier can reduce the requirement for local oscillator frequency and facilitate system applications. Moreover, the domestically produced mixer has high linearity (input P-1dB and IIP3) and integration.
