GXSC FRAM Replaces MB85RS128/FM25V01 in Payload Controllers

Time:2026-04-14 Views:14
As the core control unit, the payload controller is responsible for critical tasks such as power distribution management, telemetry data acquisition, remote control command execution, equipment health monitoring, and data storage and transmission. The information stored in the payload controller—including program configuration parameters, payload telemetry data, and fault diagnosis logs—directly impacts the normal operation of the payload system and the ability to trace faults. Any loss or corruption of this data could result in the complete failure of the entire payload system.
Therefore, storage devices must possess absolute non-volatility, requiring no power supply to retain data, and must be capable of long-term data retention even during sudden power outages, power fluctuations, or extreme operating conditions. GXSC FRAM offers superior data retention capabilities, preserving data for extended periods without power. Data remains stable for over 10 years after power loss, completely resolving the pain points associated with SRAM’s need for a backup power supply and EEPROM’s slow read/write speeds.
GXSC FRAM ensures reliable data retention for 10 years at 85°C (200 years at 25°C) within the industrial temperature range without requiring an additional battery backup. This significantly simplifies the hardware design of servo drives, reducing both design costs and failure rates. This feature ensures that critical data such as preset parameters and fault logs in servo drives are not lost after a power outage.
Additionally, the device offers excellent resistance to electromagnetic interference, vibration, and radiation, effectively withstanding electromagnetic interference and mechanical vibrations in load controller operating environments to prevent data corruption or loss. With an operating temperature range of -40°C to 85°C, it is suitable for demanding wide-temperature applications such as aerospace and industrial control, ensuring stable data storage and read/write performance under extreme temperatures.
GXSC FRAM offers pin-to-pin replacement for Fujitsu MB85RS128 and Cypress FM25V01. The SF25C128 uses a standard SPI interface, making it fully compatible with and a direct replacement for the MB85RS128 and FM25V01. No major modifications to the hardware circuitry are required during the replacement process, thereby reducing development costs. Key Specifications of GXSC FRAM:
