GXSC ADC Replaces AD9653 in Industrial High-Speed Vision Inspection

Time:2026-07-21 Views:295
Industrial high-speed vision inspection is a core technology in the fields of smart manufacturing and precision process quality control. Based on high-speed image acquisition, high-precision signal analysis, and real-time image algorithm processing, it enables the automated identification and sorting of component surface defects and dimensional deviations. Analog-to-digital converters (ADCs) serve as the signal acquisition hub in the vision imaging chain. This system can utilize GXSC’s 16-bit, four-channel, 125 MSPS ADC, which represents the optimal ADC solution for industrial high-speed vision inspection equipment.
High-speed industrial cameras and line-scan sensors convert optical signals from the workpiece surface into analog electrical signals. After noise reduction and signal conditioning, these signals are fed into the high-speed ADC for digital sampling. GXSC ADCs offer advantages such as high speed, high precision, and multi-channel capability. The chips feature built-in sample-and-hold circuits and are specifically designed for low cost, low power consumption, small size, and ease of use. With a maximum conversion rate of 125 MSpS, they deliver outstanding dynamic performance and low power consumption, making them ideal for applications requiring small package sizes.
The GXSC ADC operates on a single 1.8V power supply and accepts LVPECL/CMOS/LVDS-compatible sampling rate clock signals to fully realize its performance capabilities. For most applications, no external reference power supply or driver components are required. To achieve the appropriate LVDS serial data rate, the ADC automatically multiplies the sampling rate clock. It provides a data clock output (DCO) for capturing data at the output and a frame clock output (FCO) for signaling the start of a new output byte. It also supports individual channel power-down, with total power consumption below 10 mW when all channels are disabled.
