GXSC analog-to-digital converter replaces ADS1258 for multi-channel temperature depth monitoring

Time:2026-01-07 Views:24
The synchronous and precise monitoring of temperature and depth is the core requirement for obtaining key environmental parameters. A multi-channel temperature depth monitoring system needs to simultaneously collect temperature and pressure (converted to depth) signals from multiple monitoring points, and adapt to the stability requirements of complex underwater environments. The 16 channel 24 bit 125KSPS analog-to-digital converter of GXSC is an ideal device for multi-channel temperature depth monitoring systems. The performance of this device can replace TI‘s ADS1258 with PIN TO PIN, adapting to the needs of multi-channel and multi monitoring points.

1. High precision and low noise characteristics ensure the reliability of monitoring data
The device adopts a 24 bit Δ - ∑ modulation architecture, coupled with a specially optimized 5th order sine digital filter, achieving excellent measurement accuracy and low noise performance. At a sampling rate of 1.8ksps, its noise level is only 2.8 μ Vrms, and the maximum integration nonlinear error is only 0.0003%. It also has offset drift characteristics of 0.02 μ V/℃ and gain drift characteristics of 0.4ppm/℃.
2. Flexible multi-channel configuration, adapted to the needs of multiple monitoring points
The channel polling rate of the device is 23.7 kSPS/channel, which can be flexibly configured as either 8-channel differential input or 16 channel single ended input mode, perfectly adapting to multi-channel temperature depth monitoring scenarios. In practical applications, a single system can simultaneously connect multiple temperature and pressure sensors to achieve synchronous collection of temperature and depth parameters at different underwater locations and depth levels.

3. Comprehensive system monitoring and low-power design, suitable for complex environments
This device integrates rich internal monitoring functions, which can monitor real-time parameters such as power supply voltage, reference voltage, chip internal temperature, gain, and offset, facilitating timely troubleshooting of the system and improving long-term operational stability. In underwater monitoring scenarios, devices often rely on battery power supply. The domestically produced analog-to-digital converter has a working power consumption of only 42mW and supports standby, sleep, and power down modes, meeting the application requirements of temperature depth monitoring systems.

In summary, the multi-channel temperature depth monitoring system designed based on GXSC 16 channel 24 bit 125KSPS analog-to-digital converter can further enhance the system‘s integration, remote transmission capability, and adaptive adjustment capability, providing more efficient and reliable technical support for complex underwater environment monitoring.
