Radio scanning equipment can be used for spectrum monitoring, signal reconnaissance, interference positioning, and communication support. The workflow is to capture wideband radio signals through antennas, convert different frequency band signals to a fixed intermediate frequency (IF) through mixers, and then amplify, filter, and convert them to complete signal analysis and recognition.
The modern radio environment is becoming increasingly complex, with signals covering multiple frequency bands from shortwave to microwave, and characterized by large fluctuations in signal strength, dense interference signals, and fleeting frequency hopping signals. Equipment is required to have wideband adaptation, fast sweep response, low frequency loss, and strong anti-interference capabilities. The GXSC passive dual balanced broadband mixer chip can replace the LTC5552/LTC5553 in wireless scanning equipment, providing a highly integrated and reliable frequency conversion solution for wireless scanning equipment.

The GXSC broadband mixer chip supports the frequency range of 3GHz~20GHz, and integrates an internal RF balun for easier use. It also features an LO amplification link, supporting a local oscillator operating frequency of 1-20GHz, with a typical local oscillator power of only 0dBm. The IF end integrates an on-chip balun and is a single ended interface for easy cascading use of the IF port. The chip has a wide operating frequency range, with RF frequency of 3-20GHz, LO frequency of 1-20GHz, and IF frequency of 0.5-9GHz. Each port has ultra wideband characteristics.
The mixer chip integrates an LO amplifier, so when it works normally, it only needs to provide a typical local oscillator power of 0dBm to drive the mixer to work normally. The chip is powered by a 3.3V single power supply and is simple and easy to use.
