GXSC FRAM Replaces MB85RS128/FM25V01 in Wireless Powered Sensing Applications

Time:2026-07-02 Views:627
Passive wireless devices have gradually moved away from wired and lithium-battery power supply models. Wireless powered sensing enables the sensor component to operate wirelessly and be freely configured, eliminating the need for battery replacement. This approach offers flexible deployment and strong environmental adaptability while also eliminating the need for ongoing maintenance. Since wireless-powered sensing chips do not contain batteries, they can rapidly activate their power supply using radio waves emitted by wireless readers or the faint electrical power generated by eco-friendly power generation methods. This enables them to power the sensors, acquire sensor data, and transmit it wirelessly. The elimination of batteries and wiring makes this solution both environmentally friendly and cost-effective.
GXSC FRAM is a non-volatile memory based on ferroelectric materials. It features an SPI communication interface and operates within a voltage range of 2.7V to 3.6V. This ferroelectric memory is hardware and software compatible with the MB85RS128/FM25V01, and its performance characteristics support the secure, efficient, reliable, low-power, and stable operation of wireless sensors.
Passive sensor terminals perform real-time data collection and scheduled uploads, requiring frequent continuous read/write operations. This demands storage devices with fast read/write speeds. Domestic ferroelectric memory features a wide operating temperature range of -40 to 85°C and strong anti-interference capabilities. It supports high-speed 40 MHz read commands and offers a data retention of 10 years at 85°C (200 years at 25°C), making it well-suited for the harsh environments encountered by wireless sensor devices.
