GXSC Voltage Reference Source Replaces ADR4520/4525/4540 in Battery Monitoring Applications

Time:2026-07-27 Views:262
Battery monitoring systems are core components for ensuring the safe operation of battery systems, extending cycle life, and eliminating the risk of thermal runaway. Their functions include voltage acquisition, total voltage monitoring, current sampling, and temperature detection. The voltage reference source serves as the accuracy benchmark for the analog data acquisition chain in battery monitoring, performing parameter calibration, value conversion, and error correction. This solution recommends using a domestically produced, high-precision, low-temperature-drift, low-noise voltage reference source, which can fully replace the ADR4520/4525/4540 to build a high-precision battery monitoring system.
The GXSC voltage reference source is specifically designed for high-precision industrial measurement and control, power supply monitoring, and precision data acquisition applications. It achieves an absolute voltage accuracy of within ±0.1%. Within the temperature range of -40°C to 125°C, the typical temperature drift is 10 ppm/°C, while the ultra-low-drift version features a temperature drift as low as 3 ppm/°C. When the output voltage is 2.048 V, the 1/f noise voltage is 9 μVpp. In the 0 Hz to 1 kHz range, the power supply rejection ratio (PSRR) reaches up to 60 dB.
Battery testing requires long-term stable operation; long-term drift of the reference voltage can cause the current output accuracy to gradually decline. At the same time, load variations may cause fluctuations in the reference voltage, affecting current stability. This domestically produced voltage reference source operates within a supply voltage range of 3.1 V to 5.5 V, with a typical quiescent current of 900 μA and a maximum load current of ±10 mA, offering performance far superior to that of traditional reference source chips.
Features of the GXSC Voltage Reference:
• Ultra-low temperature drift of 10 ppm/°C, as low as 3 ppm/°C
• Initial voltage absolute accuracy of ±0.1%
• 60 dB power supply ripple rejection from 0 Hz to 1 kHz
• 1/f noise as low as 9 μVpp from 0.1 Hz to 10 Hz
• Low quiescent current of 900 μA
• ±10 mA drive current
• Compact SOIC-8 package
• ESD protection rating of 6 kV (HBM)
• Pin-to-pin replacement for the ADR4520/4525/4540
